Goaltender Mathias Savoie starred in goal as the Moncton Rallye Motors Nissan Flyers defeated the Saint John Vito’s 4 – 1 to capture the New Brunswick Midget AAA championship in Moncton on Saturday.
Savoie stopped 30 shots in the final game. Jacob LeBlanc was excellent in Game 3 with 5 Goals Against but 3 Breakaway saves and a few key PK stops
The Flyers Goaltenders are coached by our own Dave Kennedy.
The Flyers will now play in the Atlantic championship in Charlottetown in two weeks.
