Our Building on Basic Skills Program is in its 21st year of developing U7, U9, and U11 goalies from Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and the United States. The program will include a group of 28 goalies.

The program is geared toward goalies who are still working on building strong basic skills. The program was designed by instructors Louis Guay and Dave Kennedy. It will include two on-ice sessions per day as well as two off-ice sessions. The morning sessions are devoted to skating techniques, puck handling, and learning techniques. The afternoons will be for stations with shooters. The sessions will cover puck recovery, breakaways, rebound control, moving into the shot, playing behind the net, and aligning with the puck. The off-ice sessions will be for goalie-specific drills as well as other sports. They will be held at the Sports Dome, located near the Red Ball Internet Center.
