Charles has been a key figure in the Acadia Penn and Chaleur region on the goalie side. He is the director of the Baie des Chaleurs Goalie Clinics. He has claimed 3 Senior Hockey Championships as well as Goalie of the year on 3 occasions.
Charles has coached with at the Bantam AAA level as well as helping out several minor hockey associations in the region.
